Vote for the Kyle's B&B MAN OF THE YEAR for 2013!!!

Sure, it's a little early for this.... but after last year's epic battle for the title, it was decided this year to give a full 2 weeks for folks to vote for, (and mount campaigns for!), their favorite Kyle's B&B guy! So, starting today, you can cast your vote for your guy.... the ballot box is right over there on the upper right-hand side of this page, in the green box, just to the right of the pic of the 10 candidates, (another improvement over last year's competition.... you don't need to be a Facebook member to participate in the election!).

And before you go crying foul over why Breyer, Nick, Kristian, Jeff Olsen, or someone else isn't listed on the ballot, remember.... candidates must be currently residing at the B&B to be eligible, (yeah, Kristian is still in Jamaica, and Breyer and Nick don't officially live at the B&B, even though they spend lots of nights there).

Ballots close on Thursday, January 2nd at 5:00 pm, when the winner will be officially crowned. And if you're really dead-set on your guy winning the election, get out there & campaign on Facebook, your blog, your local Tupperware party, wherever you think people will be receptive. (Just make sure to direct them to the right place to vote.... which is  www.kylecomics.com  ).

Oh, and don't forget to get your butt back here on Christmas Eve for the annual Kyle's B&B Holiday Episode.... it's gonna be a Holiday party to remember, and YOU'RE invited!

Come Meet Me in Los Angeles This Weekend !!!!

Come meet me in Los Angeles this weekend! I'll be at Bent-Con, an amazing annual Comic Con targeted for the LQBTQ community! I'll have a table for all 3 days, Nov. 8th-10th, and will be signing & selling copies of the Kyle's B&B books, and showing artwork, and would love to just meet ya' and say HI! If you've seen some of my previous postings about Bent-Con, then you know what a fun, creative crowd it draws, as well as being the only Comic Con completely devoted to LGBT comics. Other gay comics creators had tables at last years', and will be there this year, too... like Patrick Fillion, Joe Phillips, Butch McLogic, Jeff Krell, ("Jayson"),  Jezza Smiles,  the Tom of Finland foundation... and many, many more!!! Also, I have never seen so many hot guys walking around in skimpy superhero costumes.  (Some more pics below). Hope to see you there!

Come Meet Me at Bent-Con in Los Angeles!!!!

2 weeks from today, Bent-Con 2013 begins! The amazing LGBTQ Comic Con extravaganza!!! I'll have a table there and I'll be signing & selling Kyle's B&B books and artwork.... hope you come by and say "Hi" if you're going to be in the Los Angeles/Burbank area. (And if you already purchased any Kyle's B&B books, that's OK.... bring 'em along with you, and I'll sign them!). It's a magnificent event you don't want to miss; I was there at last year's, and it was spectacular... it's a Comic Con completely devoted to LGBT comics. Other gay comics creators had booths there, too.... It's here! The new book, "Kyle's Bed & Breakfast: Hot Off the Griddle", is now available at Amazon and from your local bookstores! And, in addition to the beautiful FULL COLOR edition, there's also a black & white edition just for those readers who like their B&B in B&W!  Links to order the book from Amazon are below, at the end of this post. Coming This Fall!!!

Okay, it's official! In addition to the FULL COLOR version of Kyle's B&B book 3, there will also be a special Black & White edition released. I took an informal poll on Facebook, and while the large majority of readers preferred the color version, there is still a small percentage of readers who prefer the strip in black & white, (the way it was in the first two books). So, after a little investigation, I discovered it would not be too much trouble to publish BOTH versions of the book. And that's what will happen.... everyone wins!  (And also, the B&W version is a bir less expensive than the color, so if you're looking to save a few bucks, that's another option!).  In any case, the official publication date is September 24th, although you may find it showing up available on Amazon earlier than that.
UPDATE: Signed copies of the new book will be available for mail order from my friends at Book Revue bookstore, here on Long Island. If you'd like to reserve your signed copy in advance, you can call Book Revue and ask for Steve, (631-241-1442). He'll take your info, and that way the book can be sent right out to you once they arrive at the store. (And if Steve's not there when you call, ask when he'll next be in so you can call him back then.
