...Brad, I'm gonna slap that (juicy) tail of yours (panel 1)....Nick better NOT get 'rid' of that hat,'cause I'm a a BIG 'Uncle Floyd & Oogie' Fan!! ...ha-HAA!! (If that IS Oogie, tho....πŸ€”)

WELL, land sakes, Nick needs a Best Man; It would've served Nick better if he asked Brad with a bit of humility...NOW is the time to acknowledge the good GAY people in your lives that are making your union WHOLE, and I think it's sweet...

AND, Brad, don't dictate what 'romantic' is...YOU ain't got NO Man to Marry! ..ha-HAAA!! I just wish the Wedding would HAPPEN already; I can't WAIT to see who will have the sexiest medieval outfit- My guess will be Price because of his raven hair- and, his 'ravenous' ASS!! >menintightsarehotbutwithjuicyassestheyrehotter<

...OH well, let the 'joust' begin, cause I'eth ready to 'plunge my stake'....preferably, into the new, juicy, bouncy-assed Personal trainer at my Gym!! ...let the Games BEGIN!! ...ha-HAA!!πŸ˜ πŸ—‘πŸ‘πŸ’₯πŸ₯΄

...CHOW!!

I really like all the underlying tension at the B&B. It rings true to me that a bunch of gay men who don't know each other all that well -- but who nevertheless live together -- might not 100% like each other. It's cool how much they actually do get along given their differences of opinion.

And it's refreshing how much they verbalize that dislike to one another. I get that that's part of the comic strips (and the soap opera format in general), but you don't often see men in any medium speak frankly to one another about their feelings, good or bad.

I like that in panel 7 we get to see Breyer outside shoveling away, in his barely-there bike shorts!

I guess since Breyer is Canadian - he's wearing bike shorts in the snow. Although, it is true if it becomes the least bit sunny you see someone in shorts up here, the vast majority of Canadians still think they're idiots.

Dave and Nick's choices for best men made me kind of sad. I know it's a comic strip and we want to keep the focus on the established cast, and Nick and Dave are ancillary characters at best, but... neither of them has a brother? A best friend from college? Even an ex-partner who they're still close with? Having to settle for your work acquaintance and your boyfriend's building's handyman for your best men is pretty gloomy. But I'm VERY much looking forward to Richard's "Renaissance costumes"!

Also, didn't get a chance to comment on the last strip, but speaking of the Legion: Greg, have you abandoned Work That Flight Ring? I hope not..I love that strip just as much as Kyle's B&B. Your take on the Legionnaires is always interesting...and amusing! To say nothing of SEXY. I hope you do another episode soon.

@Mark:

....Hey Mark-Mark, long time no hear! ; ) ...I'm glad you brought that up, because I was going to comment prior, that Nick asking a 'frememy' as a Best Man was reaching, at best; MY take is, that Nick's Family may not wholly accept him as a Gay Man (even though another family member, 'Rocco' is Gay, also)...

...but, Nick being of a certain Italian generation, may not accept this union, for religious purposes...So, Kyles' 'family' have now become Nick & Dave's 'family'. And, as Thom H. above mentioned, Gay Men living in a B&B may not 'get along', but realize they ARE a 'family', with opinions, differences, moods, etc., and talk their emotions out....one of the MANY reasons I love this strip...

AND, I know the medieval renaissance costumes are gonna bring out the ANIMAL in Me! Mmmmm, tights n' asses,GRRROWWWLL!!πŸ‘...ha-HAAA!!

ALSO, I love the 'Flight' stuff, too; I don't comment there, because I write SO much crap HERE!! ....damned coffee!! ...ha-HAAA!!

...CHOW-CHOW!!

Hey, guys, thank you, as always, for the thoughtful comments. I just wanted to respond to a few things.

In regards to Nick choosing Brad as best man. I've noticed here and on Facebook several commenters not so happy about that. And I'm not sure why, except that perhaps it's not clear that Brad and Nick have actually become quite good friends over the years. They've spent a lot of time together, working on car engines and going to the comic book stores and comic cons together, and share several other interests, too, (like metal music and baseball). Also, as was recently shown, Nick is not at all close to his family, (he didn't want any of them to even be invited to the wedding, save for his gay nephew Rocco, until Dave intervened). So, indeed, the B&B guys have really become like family to him, and he probably is closest to Brad amongst all of them. Hence, he seems the most natural choice to me.

Secondly, about my "Work That Flight Ring" comic strip... thank you for bringing that up, Mark, and no, I have not abandoned it! I am hoping to do a new episode within the next month or so. The challenge I have with that strip is that I need to be ahead of schedule on Kyle's B&B 2 or 3 episodes before I can even think of doing a WTFR episode, because every time I do a WTFR episode it sets me back about 1-2 weeks in my work schedule. Lately, I've only been about 1 episode ahead with Kyle's B&B, so I haven't been able to consider a new WTFR episode, (although I do have a number written, just waiting to be drawn!). Perhaps it's good to be taking a little break from it right now, as the new Legion series is currently debuting, and I think it's good for Legion fans to be focusing on that for a bit. But don't worry... I have plenty of WTFR to come! Oh, and also, I have been doing a number of Legion pin-ups that I've been posting on Facebook, (there's a WTFR Facebook page, too!)... and of course, the website is www.workthatflightring.com

So, again, thank you, guys, for the kind & thoughtful comments, and stay tuned for more!

.....W@W, a 'visit' from The FOX! πŸ™Œ ; )

....s'all good, Sir Greg, we know they are characters, also, it helps with script decisions & movement...and, I DID say that Nicks' family is probably stubborn & limited in their views on homosexuality, so, the "B&B"'ers are Nicks' REAL family, now...

Dave should've ONLY invited this 'Rocco' character for 'family representation', and THAT'S IT. ...Anyway, I'm sure it'll be romantic and festive...and, some of those renaissance costumes Richard is making better be 'festive'-ly revealing, in the front for MannisπŸ†πŸ˜œ & in the backside for Price!!πŸ‘πŸ₯΄ ....ha-HAAA, dirty Mind, have I!!!

...Thanks for the 'stay' Greg, let the festivities BEGIN!! 🎭

CHOW-CHOW-CHOW!!

Thanks for the insight, Greg. I'm glad you haven't abandoned WTFR, and I will temper my impatience knowing there are more on the way!
