...That's it, Breyer, get it off that (gorgeous) chest....

...I love that this convo with Kyle & Breyer is happening on the balcony of the B&B on a foggy day; It's setting the tone for the strip, as to the mindset of the uncertainty of the future of Our World, and maybe even the strip, within itself....

I, myself, have been perturbed at other Humans NOT adjusting and taking precautionary measures to safely protect themselves, and others from spreading this disease further, and feel disillusioned, that others' feel 'violated' that they can't "do" anything, and ignore certain, simple tactics, that SAVES LIVES....

My BFF's Husband told me about COVID back in DECEMBER, so I prepared myself accordingly, and when the sequestering hit in March, I KNEW what to do; SO much so, that I being laughed at in my neighborhood, when I was wearing surgical masks back in early FEBRUARY!!

...It's very uncertain times, now, & I hope that "Kyles B&B" won't take TOO much cadence from the News Of The World; It'a a comic strip for 'escap'e, and for readers who enjoy a simpler form of entertainment, so let's hope the changes needed for the strip, are small....

...'cause Our World, itself, has some work, to DO....😞🙏

Great episode. Brings out a lot of truth in what's happening and a nice shout out to heroes during the pandemic.

I appreciate the conversation for what it is...a thumb on the pulse of what's happening in the world at present. Being a little kinder, a little more understanding, as we don't all process anxiety or grief in the same ways.

Social Commentary through art.

Thank you, Kyle!

Breyer's rant is one of those sad-but-true complaints. Luckily I have not seen nor experienced any of this. I'm in a small community and people are pretty polite and caring. The incidents of not wearing masks and whining about the restrictions have been left to online B.S. which I don't pay attention to. And I'm happy to say that Massachusetts, like New York, is one of the states that continues to see declines in cases and the hospitals in our county no longer have anyone admitted with Covid-19. Masks and distancing work!

Of course, the flip-side to that is that many of those people home binge-watching Orphan Black would much rather be earning a paycheck, and are terribly worried about what their future prospects are. But I like seeing things from Breyer's perspective. It's good for him to vent. But we truly ARE "all in this together", and we should heed our better angels and resist the urge to judge the circumstances of others. Kyle wisely didn't say that to Breyer, but I hope Breyer realizes that himself, beneath his very understandable frustration with the people taking out their anxieties on front-line workers.

Boy, I'm super therapisty today! Who needs some life coaching?!

Ysy more Breyer! Yes, I can see both sides, and I truly wish that people would appreciate the social component of health and be mindful...
