...hmmmm, Darren's way of talking in this Episode, makes him sound as haughty as Lance! ..."infinitely"!?? "..some unusual person!?" ..well, excuuuuuuuse ME! ...ha-HAAAA!!
...Oh Eddie-Eddie s'time to grow UP; Ed still has this 1998 "Clubland" mindset that is D-A-T-E-D, Man...Gay Men- ETHNIC Gay Men - ...can meet MANY different ways these days, and converse over MANY different topics...Darren & Eduardo (in the car) have different interests, but it IS cute to see them try to navigate them, and connect towards one another, without sexualized implications, that Eddie-Eddie is USED to.....
...To be honest, I thought of those "Power Rangers" fans dressing up at conventions was a bit 'much', but WOWZA, do they have F-A-N-S!
...I really wish Sir Greg would imbue some character changes in Ed; he was showing a mature, SEXY change when he was with Jake (button-down shirts, working 3 jobs, more laid-back demeanor)...then, when he got that "Tom Cruise with a goatee" makeover, it was such a shock, 'because the CHARACTER never grew...
...He seems the MOST 'dated' now, along the lines of barbed wire tattoos, Pamela Anderson, Junior Vasquez remixes & Raymond Dragon swimwear.... >sigh< ...no comment....
I love the action figure storyline. Many people collect all sorts of things. It's fun and healthy. I had a friend who made fun of my action figures. He had a "mature" habit: cocaine.
Honestly, why does Darren playing with his action figures sound more interesting than these two interacting? There is just zero chemistry. Time to move on (storyline and relationship). I'm actually longing for some of Bryce's intrigue.
I don't get why guys are HATING on Eduardo & Darren being a couple so much, instead of trying to couple them up with guys that they think are better for them why not consider the issues that could possibly arise with them as a couple because of their differences....
I think that it's because they didn't jump into bed immediately. What the so-called gay community has to realize is that just because you have great sexual chemistry, it may not always translate into great relationship chemistry. I see it as this: they are working out kinks. However, someone made it a point to state that Darren likes action figures too much, I disagree. I love comic books but that that make me less interesting. No. Also, Darren is NOT acting like Lance because Lance would've already dumped him, which he did earlier. No two people can enjoy the same things all of the time. Ed can go out to his party scene while Darren can enjoy comic conventions. That doesn't mean that the relationship is non-valid. It's called maturity people. Maybe some of the guys here should use it. Besides, they are FAR more interesting than Jeremy/Mannis and Brad/Price (whose storyline drags on and on!)!
That first part of a relationship can be really rocky, I agree. And working out the emotional kinks is part of it. But if Eduardo was as dismissive of me as he is of Darren, I would definitely consider putting an end to things.

"Oh, you do like cosplay? That sounds boring."
Great relationship skills, Ed. Get some therapy.
