2. ....and, why is that OTHER Queen (Richard) bursting in on Kyle & Dennis' intimate moment!? ...worse yet, WHY is he still DJ'ing? ....he's 43!!
3. ....although it's believable Brad, Richard & Price would walk in on Kyle & Dennis, IN FLAGRANTE ....It makes ZERO sense that Darren would!
...If that's the case, NOW would be the time to put Darren in some skimpy, teeny clothing, It's TIME we see some chocolate Ta-Ta's & BUNS! ...ha-HAAA!

A snow day at the Bed and Breakfast! You'd think Coach would appreciate Kyle's commitment to the B&B. I did not realize that Kyle made breakfast for everyone. I never heard of a B&B that served breakfast to guests for more than a day or two.
This is a real family/community situation - everyone, even Darren, steps in to help out in an emergency situation, whether it's weather or new relationships or whatever!
Let's hear it for Richard and how he "knows things"! He's like the character of Radar O'Reilly on "MASH" who just "knew things"!
It's good that Brad spoke up to Coach about his financial situation. Semi-pro ball is not a full time gig - that's why snow ploughing jobs make perfect sense as an example of cobbled-together jobs that keep the money coming in.
Such cringy and inappropriate. It's great to see Kyle and Coach took it to the next level. And of course, Coach is going to need to be accustomed to the casual dress/undress at the B&B if he's in Kyle's life (being an athlete, this should be easy - probably used to that professionally). BUT - this is their first morning together - they should be able to enjoy the special moment without such an intrusion, which Coach clearly didn't like. This attempt at comedy is as funny as Trump bursting into pageant dressing rooms. Making breakfast for Kyle and Coach is a nice touch, returning the favor Kyle does for everyone, but knocking would be appropriate - supposed they were being intimate at that moment? Or is Richard listening at the door? Maybe it's just me, but Richard's character is written so unappealingly even Jake from Indiana is more palatable.
....easy, Frankie....we all know Richard's knack for nosiness is well-known, and can border on 'intrusive'....methinks it doesn't border on sexual perversion, & Trump-like actions....
...Richard believes his nosiness to be helpful; Richard helped Kyle get his B&B back, after Price sold it to a IHOP-like chain, and was gonna jut the Gang out in the Street....AND, got Price to stay, when he revealed he liked the Gang, and wanted to get closer to Brad....
...Richard also helped when Rudy was almost scammed out of his Andy Warhol Art collection by the scheming younger Man, that Rudy was dating....
...Richard also was the One who researched Breyer's whereabouts when he cheated on Kyle with a tryst in the Park, for clarification; he went WAY above what he needed to do, but CARED for Kyle enough, to do so....
....YES, his over-eagerness to serve 'breakfast' was a bit much here, but, he CARES for Kyle....P.S., anyone who has Blue Hair, AIN'T shy and demure! ...ha-HAAA!!
Yes, all those things are true, and Richard is often the helpful, compassionate housemate and friend.
Richard is also the guy who tried to seduce Breyer, implored Breyer to keep it a secret, and when Breyer told Kyle, Richard and his stuff was tossed onto the lawn. Which made his outspoken anger towards Breyer seem like virtue signaling - he should have sat out that discussion.
Richard, at a crime scene where Rudy was nearly killed and Terrence died, thinks it's a great idea to hit on cops trying to do their jobs.
And like the last tender moment Kyle has with Coach - Richard is shown intruding and being nosy, and possibly embarrassing someone who's new to the community and maybe more reserved. Why would the same Coach who admonished Brad for walking around the B&B nearly nude be okay with all the housemates walking into the bedroom and spoiling the "afterglow" - and yes, the door should have been locked.
I'm not meaning to be overly sensitive or "PC" - it's kind of like the forced BJ Price gave to Brad, and persistent efforts even after Brad was clear there's no interest. Brad seems to have forgotten about consent when he plants an unwanted kiss on Darren, who'd been dating Eduardo.
We all love the strip and look forward to reading it - but sometimes the writing, though fiction, exemplifies bad behavior which seems to always get a pass. Price locking Levi out in a storm, Price paying Kristen to seduce and hurt Richard's heart, Price lodging a false police report against Kristen (rich white guy making false accusation against poor black guy). No one expects fictional characters to be idealized (well, their bodies seem to be) though hopefully we'll see better manners, kindness and consideration from characters who are supposed to be adults, a family and a community. I hope LGBT and heteros who read this strip don't get the idea this is what we're like. Sometimes I wonder what Greg's meaning to convey.
....whew, I get where you're comin' from....reading back some of those story arcs you pulled, I can see why Rich's behavior can irk...and, I was gonna bring up Rich's past 'indiscretions', too, to counteract what I wrote about him....especially, with that 'crime scene Cop' arc...eeek......
....But, this IS a B&B with different personalities, and even though most are Gay (Levi was deemed Bisexual, but we haven't concrete proof), they're not all "Saints", Babe...which , humanizes them, to an extent...
....If anything, I've been DYING for Greg to rock the B&B with some exploits for 2024; Sergei cheating with Nick, Mannis getting arrested for brawls, Drew & Lance halting their relationship, due to Lance's lack of intimacy, Brad hitting on Kyle, to keep Coach away from him, Ed getting sexually harassed in College, Price angrily giving Brad an ultimatum (& admitting he got Jaime sent away), Darren getting shot on duty, Rudy on his Death bed....
...this B&B needs DRAMA, It's a Comic strip! ...we ALL know Greg likes the "Gilmore Girl" side of Life, but.....I personally like some 'shock' with my pancakes.....

That would be a major red flag for me if I was Dennis . I wouldn't appreciate my partner showing a lack of respect for our privacy and offering an excuse of get used to it , this is how I live. I mean who lets the general public into their bedroom? Course the B&B should be called Kyles Bed Bathhouse and Breakfast with the way guys walk around with their junk hanging out. I for one would not tolerate people like Price or Richard - Price tried to take over the B&B while Richard has managed to disrespect just about everyone and he spies on everyone which seems to be permitted according to Kyle. IMO Price should be sitting in jail and Richard should have been booted on his ass a long time ago.
I'm sorry but if I were the coach, I would've been out of there. Just totally inappropriate and the fact that Kyle doesn't really address is makes it seem as if this was more a part of a porn movie and intimacy. To be honest, this shows the many ills within the LBGTQ+ community. Everyone says that this strip needs drama and I agree. Here's an idea: why not have Price be cut off from his funding due to homophobic parents...? Why not have Drew confront Lance over intimacy issues..? Why not have Rudy get sick..? You can have Brad. UGH. Lastly, why not have Darren come out to the police force and face homophobia? and finally, why not have Kristen (THE hottest man EVER in this strip) come back along with Jeff Olsen? To be honest with you, I never liked Price (too many white advantages for my tastes). He's done the most of ANY of the men and he's still there and I don't understand why, if he has that much money, he's living at a bed and breakfast. How about addressing this...?
