....wha- ...why, you...WHAT THE HELL, Lance!?? ..I only had ONE sip of Coffee, and Lance woke me up quicker than the caffeine...with RAGE!
1. ...what did you EXPECT, Lance!? ...you didn't tell Drew about being in Love with Xavier prior, AND your entire relationship was based on beating others off with a stick over Drew, and you're POUTIN' that Xavier took a shine all over.....- I mean- ...TO.... Drew!?? ...you gave him a FREE PASS!!
2. ...this situation is WHY Couples who 'open it up' to Others NEED to map it out, beforehand; Lance is being pithy as HELL about the opportunity HE offered to Drew, and is now mad that Drew befitted from it!?? ...that '...second load...' came from SOMEWHERE....
3. ...Drew is not helping the situation either, with this, '...who ME?..' response....; He should've MADE Xavier stay to say goodbye to Lance, it should've been talked about beforehand before he agreed to it, AND have boundaries set in case Lance flies off the handle....like he DID.......
....Drew, STOP. ....leave this relationship, it hasn't been beneficial to NEITHER Person for the looooongest time...... a real shame, for the most 'mature' Couple in the B&B..........CHOW.................
Well, well, well. The ironic twist I posted did happen like I predicted. Lance turned out to not be the object of desire for Xavier. His idea of a 'special night' actually backfired. He pressured Drew into participating in a threesome and when Drew agrees, he's now playing the wounded child when he's not included in a game he so masterfully set up!
Lance asked for it. He got it. Now he's all butt-hurt. If Lance is mad, he should talk to Xavier about it. This is why a couple is better off picking out a rando to be their sexy time guest star. That way, there is no past experience that gets in the way of the fun. Drew has nothing to apologize for. Lance had all those years long ago to make his chocolate fantasy come true. Lance should really be mad at himself here.
For some reason my original post was deleted. I just posted it. I will say this... Lance's plan for a threesome didn't go as planned. I suggested on the prior episode that Xavier and Drew were going to have a better connection. Lance actually should upset with himself for pressuring Drew into a fling he was excluded from by Xavier. But, going out on a limb , Xavier's exit without him communicating with Lance, implies something more may have happened in their past.
Two weeks can't come soon enough, this will make quite the Pride episode. I wish the encounter had happened outside the B&B to avoid the usual peanut gallery.
“Serves him right” - the message for the day! Lance pushed for a covert “second chance “ with his college crush, only to find that the affection and memories were all unreciprocated. Big blow to Lance’s ego!
Xavier had a plan all along. His plan all along -- in Reese's Cups terms -- was to stick his chocolate in Drew' peanut butter. Soon as he got that, he dipped. That is less of three way and more of a drive-by.
Lance not so gently pressed Drew into the threesome without disclosing he was once, maybe still in love with Xavier (which may have been a factor in Drew agreeing or not). The threesome was the excuse for Lance to indulge without technically cheating. It was always about Lance’s desire, now Lance is feels rejected/hurt/angry that Xavier was only interested in Drew. It’s common in threesomes there is unequal attraction which can be quite awkward. Lance shouldn’t be angry, it’s the risk he took. Drew would have been content not having the encounter. What would Lance say if Xavier had been only into him, leaving Drew on the sidelines?
Greg has given us a saucy dramatic episode; I would like to see the "missing panels" between numbers 3 and 4.
To really spice things up, Xavier should accept a job offer on Long Island, then move into the B&B's annex.
Was second to post about 6:40--'deleated. My follow-up post- deleted. My 3rd and fourth posts -deleted. Guess I will just go back to being an observer who keeps my opinions/observations to myself.
Why might this be Greg? In any case, my post wasn't so different than others' comments, though I did suggest Xavier moving into the B&B annex (much like Alexis Carrington moving into the studio in Dynasty). Would have been cool to see a glimpse of Xavier in the buff, though we all have our imaginations....
..I'm surprised your comments are getting chucked, 'cause I'm usually the DIRTY One! ...ha-HAAA! ...But seriously, maybe you're posting phrases & words that BLOGGER doesn't allow.....
...Greg (from what I can gather) has 'silent' moderators, and / or controls posts himself, but he allows certain Ones to go through; sometimes you can 'alter' a Word, and it'll go through.....
....example: ...don't say 'nuclear', ...say, "..n-uclear..", and it'll work!
....I love Frankie Baby's comments, so I'm shocked he wrote sumpthin' dirtier than ME! ...ha-HAA! ..CHOW-CHOW.... ; )
100% agree JM! Lance thought he’d live out his unrequited love fantasy with Drew being the dope. He thought HE would be sole focus of both men which isn’t a surprise considering how self-centered he is. Lance got exactly what he deserved.
Okay, one more time.... condensed version. Lance's plan backfired, Xavier was actually planning to be with Drew from the start as I mentioned on the last episode. Something about Xavier and Lance's prior relationship isn't being addressed, since he left without a goodbye. Lance is uptight because he wasn't able to participate in something he set up.
My reply to you was just deleted RBS, as well as my praise of Anthony's comment. Anyway, quite a lot to unpack here. Lance storms off to listen to "Jolene" and cry into his drink....read this fast; it's going to disappear like Snapchat.
@Anthony: the ONLY comment on here that made sense! Lance's plan DID backfire and this is why 3somes in terms of relationships never truly work out. It's too messy and one person always feel left out. This also highlights why so many gay male relationships DO NOT work out. I think that Xavier had a vengeful thing against Lance because Lance beat him at everything. Drew going along with it blindly only highlights how far his character has fallen....Can they work it out? Maybe, I only say this because MOST gay male relationships are open now and monogamy is a thing of the past...
Disappointed in this episode. Typical of gay men. Sooner or later, either (1) 3somes, (2) open relationships, or (3) cheating comes in. I have never seen a monogamous gay male couple. At this point, it seems as if this is the typical norm....Now: can these two work it out? I want to say NO but...(1) Maybe THIS will help Lance to appreciate Drew more and (2) Maybe THIS will help Drew develop a backbone. But remember, once you open Pandora's box, it can't be closed again. They are going to be together because: (1) Lance likes having security and (2) Drew likes to be co-dependent. Yes, it's sick but this is the nature of gay male relationships....
Actually, research from countries with established marriage equality, like the Netherlands, shows gay male divorce rates hovering around 7% to 15%, compared to 18% for heterosexual couples.
@JM: This may be true but in the United States, gay men in either open relationships/fwb, or non-monogamy are listed at 30-50% vs straight men who are listed at around 3-5%. Not trying to start an argument but I'm just saying. Getting into a monogamous relationship while gay is next to impossible.
It may be that straight men / couples who aren't monogamous are less likely to be open the way gay people might. Single digit percentages for straight couples who aren't monogamous doesn't seem plausible.
@Shaun: I thought that this was fishy as well. That being said: I DO think that gay men participate in 3somes, open relationships and FWB MUCH more than straight people. Honestly? I've never seen a monogamous gay male couple.
@ Jack. This backfiring hopefully don't cause Lance to seek comfort with someone else. I won't invoke any names, but the bnb was the scene of the rendezvous. I'm sure rumors and gossip will be the start!
@Frank, I just wanted to let you know, your comments were incorrectly categorized as "spam" by Blogger, (I'm not sure why). I checked with Wildcat on this, (who also moderates the comments here), and neither of us can figure out why certain comments get flagged by their system. Maybe the fact that you tried several additional times to post the same comment after the first comment was deleted? But that doesn't explain why the initial comment was flagged in the first place! Ah, the mysteries of posting! In any case, I apologize for the confusion, and I was able to "unflag" the original comment so that it's now posted, (I did delete the 3 additional posts that were carbon copies of the first, as the original is now posted). Thank you for your patience!
...s'all good, Sir Greg...I was gonna comment to Frankie Baby that maybe his re-posting MAY have caused the kickback....also....It's been awhile that Sir Wildcat has been round these parts.....I thought my OWN dirty talk would get ME flagged! ...ha-HAAA! ; )
...anyhoo, loving this touchy subject, Sir Greg.... Lance has some 'SPAININ' to do...... ; )
Thanks very much Greg. Sorry for the trouble. Now I wish I'd written something more significant. Thank you for an episode stimulating on multiple levels. It's certainly inspired lively discourse. I suspect Drew will reclaim his Man of the Year Award.
As I said before, never do things in odd #s as someone always feels left out.
And if you do decide to bring in a 3rd, have a long conversation beforehand about what you want to do and what you want your partner to do. Also develop some cues if things aren't working out or if one of you starts to feel uncomfortable.
Oh for goodness sakes: They were BOTH wrong. Drew: should never of agreed to participate in it to begin with, when things started to get bad, he should've ended it immediately but he didn't....Lance: should never of set it up to begin with, when things started to get bad, he should've stepped in and ended it but he didn't.
I guess for 3somes, some ground rules should've been established beforehand and the moment someone is left out, the cord should've been cut from the both of them. In 3somes, there's always going to be someone who feels left out. This is why polyamorous, 3somes don't usually work out...That being said: as a couple, they're not done because Lance is a narcissist who needs constant reassurance and Drew is a himbo who needs validation. I'd rather they stay together then go to other people and be even more toxic.
On a side note: it would be interesting to know if Xavier gave one or both an STI. I truly think that all of this swapping and such leads to STI exposure but hey, in this strip, no-one truly catches anything....
@Ridor: for me too. It got WAY too messy because they were fighting over which one was the better bottom. Afterwards, the older one wanted to kick it with me and I tried for a second and then dumped him. Way too much drama... Jack
Lance has got to be the poster child for men who are relationship cancer. Just so many red flags about the guy before this 3way fiasco. The guy doesn't belong in a relationship , he obviously is self-centered and doesn't care about anyone else but himself. So now Lance reveals that he was in love with Xavier and now resents Drew because the guy didnt wanna do him when he set the whole thing up and quite honestly , Lance finally got a dose of his own medicine since he used Drew and his fantasy lover Xavier used him to get to Drew. Been there done that , it's called setting boundaries and having respect for your lover , Lance showed none of that and honestly Drew should have walked right then instead of just going along with it. So lets move over to Drew since he did go along with it, once they started fucking around in bed and he noticed Xavier wasnt paying any attention to Lance , why did he not put a stop to it , you just dont ignore your lover completely and leave him laying there while you fuck another guy . if youre gonna go one on one in between full 3 way then you gotta do the watch and join in thing , not completely ignore the 3rd guy. So in this scenario , Drew pulled a dick move because he let it go on and gave a lame excuse about trying to pull the other guy in who obviously didnt want to have anything to do with Lance . My verdict - Greg needs to end their relationship and move on to more interesting things
A suggestion I had a while back is Lance and Price's characters should be together. They'd be the personification of power couple, and there would be a constant competition to see who is top dog (though we know that'd be Lance in the bedroom). Lance seems to be the one capable of keeping Price in line and from looking at other men, and the years-long feud may mask their actual feelings. Both are narcissistic, driven, passionate, jealous, pretentious, successful, sexual. It would be an interesting development, and more natural fit than some couplings we've seen (Jake + anyone, Jeremy and Levi, Richard + AI Fletcher). We've seen Lance and Price nude together in locker room following a furious fight in a pool - if that doesn't scream for spontaneous hookup, nothing does. Just a thought, even if Lance will need to go to Columbia for doctoral studies - to boast of an Ivy League education alongside Price.
Drew and Lance should split up for awhile with Lance moving out of the B&B to an apartment that's close to his office. Meanwhile, what's going on at Rudy's kilt shop and how is his work relationship with Manis in there? And how's the story with Richard and his new guy friend coming along???

Fletcher supported monogamy. Richard couldn't even speak with another man.
