Heck, why do they take all that silly affair to seriously, Richard is just a poor idiot... it's not about Kyle or Breyer, really, it's about a mindless poor thing who made a pass at his best friend's boyfriend like he could have committed suicide: he has enough being that way and not realizing it even now.

Rick has always been the same sort of person, capable of doing what he finally did... Breyer should not have waited to get Rick harassing his crotch (yuck!) to give him the cold shoulder.

Greg, you have a great way of stretching this story line. So, next time "The Price is right?" aka uncovering the truth about Price, so the last episode of this year is a happy ending for all?

I don't know, I think Breyer should have just told Kyle, he'll find out anyway, and then it will look like Breyer lied to him on top of everything else.

I agree with Michelle-Breyer's just prolonging an impending agony.

lied? why lied? Breyer's nothing to do with this situation and it's not his responsibility to tell anything.

I frankly think all this story is no big deal: Richard was drunk and made a stupid thing that lead nowhere. Now he has to look into himself to understand the reasons for this act and hopefully using it to improve himself, start a more meaningful life and be happy. In the process, he should tell Kyle of the event.
Breyer has no role in the whole thing, telling Kyle would mean give some importance to something that doesn't have any.

Breyer is a bastard when it comes to dealing with drunks ... hostile, perhaps, because of his father.

Can't blame him but you gotta love Breyer for being a true man to Kyle.

They all live together... there is a reason for that: they all deserve each other.

Am I the only one who thinks Breyer's being a bit of a prig here? Not to mention a hyprocrite?

Consider how all of this happened. Breyer was in the kitchen after hours, apparently doing some advance preparation of the breakfast for the following morning, knowing Kyle would be away. And knowing full well that any of the B&B guys might come strolling in after a night of drinking and clubbing. And what does he choose to wear? His tight little boxers and black socks, showing off his hairy muscular legs and tightly outlined package for all to see.

So then he is surprised when one of the guys makes a drunken pass at him?

I'm not excusing Richard's behavior. Nor am I saying a victim of sexual assault should feel guilty for "leading someone on". But in this particular case, I can't help wonder if Breyer was possibly looking for a little "action" with Kyle being out of town, but when something happened, he chickened out. Or worse yet, he wanted someone other than Richard to come on to him, and only because it was Richard did he react so negatively.

Just my thoughts. I am interested to see how this all plays out!

Sorry, A, I can't buy into that idea, Breyer walks around in freezing weather in biker shorts all the time, there's no way he could have foreseen one of his "friends" trying something like that. Besides, he was obviously disgusted when Richard tried to kiss him.

What alexander was hinting at, no matter how mildly and well-intentioned, goes along the same line of pseudoargumentation that holds women wearing miniskirts as ultimately responsible for suffering rapist attacks.
