A dozen? You don't buy and present flowers by the dozen as if they were eggs. They always come in odd numbers.
Is Lance implying one of them should be used for another purpose?

When are we going to see Lance hook up with someone?

I KNEW Lance had a good heart inside that tough exterior! Good for him, I hope it works out for Nick and Dave.

Actually roses should be presented in groups of 6, 12 or multiples of 12. Or a single one.

My dislike for this storyline continues. Probably because I don't get its starting point.

Really enjoyed it.

Lance did have a wonderful romance. It's in book one. I cannot think of the guys name? His boyfriend had to go back home and entered the priesthood I think?

It was tough on Lance when the guy went back to I think it was Ireland? I'm not certain. Was his name Sean? Again, I'm not certain.

Yay for romance.

Hi all. I do not live in the US, and it's perfectly possible I missed the explanation, but can someone (Greg?) elaborate about the maple leaves present since previous cartoon? (behind the cartoon number and Breyer's room wall)

@Salk - Thanks for the question; you're the first person who's asked me about that! The maple leaf is where the episode # is... in previous episodes, I'd used a pink triangle, but I'd been wanting to make a change for quite a while. I settled on the maple leaf design, as it seemed somewhat representative of the B&B, (maple trees are often seen in abundance in outdoor episodes). And the fun part is, I can change the color of the leaf as the seasons change!

Also, Greg, may I point out to Salk that Breyer has a Toronto Maple Leafs poster on his wall (nice touch for the strip's scenery!)? Salk, that's an NHL hockey team, and it figures Breyer would be a fan since he's Canadian and from Toronto.

Roses are not eggs... even if they sell them by the dozen at Walmart you just don't present them by dozens or half-dozens like a Bud sixpack.
As for the point of the storyline, it's supposed to be as pointless as real life stories themselves... as pointless as the discussion about the proper number of roses in a bouquet, or the places that set them like they pack eggs.
