Is it just me, or is Richard drawn more sympathetic than usual in this strip? The lines of his face seem softer than usual.

@ Ian Pittsburgh:

...and, not only THAT, when did Dave become smokin' HOT, with that updated hairdo!? ...I though it was BRAD in two panels! ...ha-HAA!

...I know that Greg wants these 'nuptials' to have a slow build-up, but this engagement has been going on (in real time) for SEVEN YEARS, and I think it's best that it just happens, and wraps up. It seems there will be a new storyline set-up, maybe featuring Nicks' family & this 'Rocco', but I'd rather see the central characters in this are (Nick & Dave) have their happy 'moment', and set this story arc to rest...

I MISS Price, Eduardo, Rudy, SERGEI, etc., and would LOVE to see newer story arcs with them....

...and, seeing that Drew and Brad are the most scantily clad Men in the B&B, why isn't NICK getting some undressed 'Bear' love!? ...It would be nice to see him in Bed with Dave, exposing his big, robust & juicy....IRON MAIDENS!! (panel Six) ...ha-HAAA!

..don't hit me Greg, CHOW!

Gay italian nephew Rocco...that sounds like a "hands down the pants" story line in the making

I think Dave is way wrong to be so dogmatically conventional about including family members--specifically Nick's--in all important occasions. If he's cut off from them, that's his affair, and no doubt he has good reasons. People don't leave relations out of their lives on a whim.

To try to force your partner into welcoming into his life people he loathes is a great way to start an argument that will never end and may ultimately prove destructive. Does Dave really care about how Nick regards his relatives? What if Nick makes a stand and calls off the wedding?

Is that extreme? Maybe imposing your will on others is extreme--which is what Dave is doing to Nick right now.

...'tis true, 'tis true, Eth...I think it's more of a story-arc set up that 'separates' the engaged couple, until someone intervenes with reasoning (Rocco?) and, they go to get married anyway, but, it DOES seem to come off as a problematic start to a situation...

AND, what about Dave's family!? how would HE feel, if Nick said 'no way' to certain family members!? ..Time (and episodes) will tell...

I just hope this 'Rocco' is smokin' HOT...I remember when an mid-late 30's Tony Danza (with that big ass in those tight jeans & those nipple-glazing T-shirts) made me SWEAT with desire; I hope Rocco has that vibe... I need an ITALIAN fix 'round HERE! ..Ay-O! O-Ay! ...ha-HAA!!

chow-CHOW!

@ethan,

I completely agree with you.
Were I to have the honor to marry someone I love, I would object strenuously if my future partner were to go around me to invite my former family. It would cause me to question whether the partnership should move forward because such an action would indicate that my partner clearly did not know me at all.

.....yeah, YEAH, I'm back (doc's visit; off from work, from a sinus virus 🤧)...I'm seeing that it's a certain artists' BIRTHDAY today, from your Facebook page! ; )

GREG FOX, allow me to extend Birthday salutations from all of us visitors here, to the 'Kyles' B&B' website to YOU; I remember those early 90's drawings of various celebrities / sports figures that you did (and, some that you'd WANT us to remain nameless...)and, I can't BELIEVE I'd be a staunch supporter of your 'main baby', all these YEARS ago....

I STILL have the "Genre" Magazine that had the earliest rendition of the "Kyle" storyline, and thought how interesting, sweet, funny, & sexy it was....NOW, that pertains to YOU!

We all want to have success in following our dreams, and taking a creative idea and making it a 'brand', that takes us to notoriety, success, & legacy; for the Gay Community, you've done just THAT, with THIS legacy...your comic strip. MANY people read it, support it, and follow it, and it has been YOUR bread & butter, for 21+ years; not many people can say that about their creative endeavors, so I say to you....THANK YOU, for your creativity, your Heart, your Gay support stances, and MOSTLY, your strip, "Kyles B&B"...I have ALL Five Books, and as long as I can keep my sinuses from getting infected 🤒, I will ALWAYS support your strip....👍

....as long as, you gimme a 'Big Ass' shot of Price....or Jaime, bent over, doing laundry....or, Lance, in ballet tights...or, Sergei in black spandex short-shorts...or 🥴....what was I sayin' again!? 🤔/😜

Oh YEAH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BUBBY!! ...enjoy, Luv, ha-HAAA!!🍰🥳

chow-chow, CHOW!

another gay relative? Ugh. Is this the new storyline narrative. What's next? Is Brad's father gay? I mean come on....That being said, I did not like the way that Dave just decided to invite family members that Nick did not like. What's more is that he seemed to 'demand' that Nick "get over it." I would not be marrying an individual like that. Well, this is still a welcome change from that dullard Brad.

It was more than a little presumptuous of Dave to go against Nick's wishes, but it should make for a lively celebration, at any rate.

I'm hoping we get to see some old faces back at the B&B for this wedding. It would be nice to see Matthias and Morgan and Jeff again.

....don't forget Njord, and SERGEI, TOO! ; )
