Thank you so much for this strip. I'm sure I've said it like a thousand times before but I truly enjoy it. Is there another book, or movie or something coming up?

What no visitation from Steve the Christmas Angel?!?! And when, are you gonna have Kyle and company find out he's an angel and gay??? LOL

Seriously though Greg, Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and yours! This strip is absolutely the best.

I don't suppose you'll give us an extra Christmas gift with another strip next week for Christmas Eve??? Guess I have to wait until following week, '09 Eve, huh?

**Ian makes a disappointed face**

Really beautiful panel, and so true to all the characters. Jeff is love :) Is the guy with the long hair a character who was beaten up or put in the hospital last year? I'm trying to remember.

Could somebody who knows (Greg would be good) list the characters in the first panel, L-R? It'd be really helpful as a key for reading other strips!

Great strip, but this month's copy of David has another strip #245 which looks like a continuation of the last strip where our two ad execs were meeting with a client and he complimented the guy who uses a wheelchair's sweater, will we see that one next month?

Wait, who's the lad from Virginia in the green sweater? He must have been introduced during the 7 month gap of strips I missed that I won't be able to read until book 2 comes out. Can anyone fill me in/refresh my memory on who the man from Virginia in the green sweater is?

PS- I thought that *was* Steve the Angel in the blue, bottom middle panel. No?

Oh, and Happy Christmas, all! :-)

Hey, all!

Thanks for all of the sweet comments. I try not to comment on here too often, as this is YOUR space to chat about the strip, not mine, but... figured I'd jump in and answer some of the various questions raised. So...

To Choc-- Yes, another book is coming up, (thanks for asking!) I don't have a date as of yet, but believe me, I'll let you know loud & clear on the website when it's going to happen! TV or movie thing is a little more up in the air at this point. I've had several offers that didn't really go anywhere; I'm hoping to get a more substantial offer in the months ahead, (I would really like it done right, done with quality & integrity. We'll see!).

To Ian-- Steve the angel IS in this episode! (See my answer below to Kate). And about when the folks in the comic strip will find out about his angelic status? Well... Delia already knows, Kyle sort of suspects something, and Lance probably has an inkling, too, after last year's Holiday episode. About him being gay? Well... is he? That's never actually been established. My personal feeling is that he is most likely bisexual, but... until he makes some kind of a statement in the strip, it's all speculation!

To George-- Here are the characters in panel #1, left to right: Lance, Frosty, Richard, Steve, Nick, Dave, Brad, (presumably, Heath is behind Nick, below eye level so not in sight in this panel), Kyle, Breyer, Matt, Mark, Delia, Eduardo, Andrew, Jeff, and William.

To Michelle--Yeah, the print versions of the strip sometimes vary slightly in numerical order. It had to happen this time, as this Holiday episode would've ran after the holidays if I'd had them numbered the same as the online version. (The strip you mentioned will be the next one here on the website).

To Kate--The guy from Virginia in the green sweater is William, Andrew's partner & Heath's other father. (Who, apparently, is one ot the only guys among this circle of friends who is a member of Kyle's gay men's book group).

And to Kate, and Ian-- Yes, that is Steve the angel in panel # 5, blue sweater, talking to Kyle & Breyer.

Hope that helps to clear things up! Happy Holidays to everyone, (if you celebrate them, that is. I know not everyone does). By the way, we're expecting a huge snow-storm here in Northport tomorrow. (Am I silly to have found it a bit pornographic when the newscaster just said on the TV: "6 to 10 inches headed our way"?). I can't believe I'm even telling you that! See, this is wny I shouldn't comment on here...

WILLIAM! Of course. Now I feel stupid. I guess didn't recognize him in color after just an appearance or two *facepalm* Thank you, Greg!

Down here in Northern Virginia we have yet to have actual snow... though now I'll be forced to listen more closely to our newscasters' wording. heehee! (Must be the Richard part of you that picks up on that)

Ian said...

Thanks for clearing that up Greg. I guess I was so excited, I missed Steve...

Kate if you wanna have snow, I'll be glad to ship you some. LOL. I have more than enough snow!!! It's snowed at least once a week here in my area of PA since Thanksgiving...ugh!

Happy Holidays All!
-Ian

Is Delia single? I thought she was partnered.

Delia seems to be single. In all of her appearances in the strip so far, she hasn't mentioned a partner or a girlfriend or anything. Or am I wrong about that?

i'm finding it interesting just how many holiday songs do have the word "gay" in them. As for the idea of a movie on the strip. That would be awesome. I've pondered that one often. Would be interesting to see who the other readers would suggest to star in the movie and which part they would play.
