Wow! This is for those of us who've been thinking that Darren's nightmares and PTSD were "no big deal" or a "distraction" from his temporal hotness!

'Killed' his first serious love!

Can't get more serous than that!

[I'm guessing it's not literal - Darren probably inadvertently revealed their relationship to the wrong person, but still!]

Plot twist!

...well, I see Greg wanted to shut ME up about Darren's PTSD plot twist! "...I KILLED HIM!!!..." ...ha-HAA!...ALRIGHT, seriously, I have some views...

1. methinks Darren's life may have been threatened, and 'Marc' (who looks like Price) may have been up to some nefarious stuff, and wanted to make sure Darren wouldn't 'snitch'...

2. Marc's family possibly tried to 'off' Darren, and Marc tried to save him, and wound up perished...Levi felt that he 'killed' his pharmaceutical client, when actually someone put the blame on him, soooo, there may be a similar situation, here......

3. ...I truly wish that the 'Ebony Man' didn't get the '..I killed someone...' storyline, but with Darren's (current)Police employment and previous military work, I'll reason it to being he has the most 'active' chance of facing 'death' of all the characters in the strip, so it's plausible....

...AND, I was ready to raise HELL about not seeing LANCE for quite the while (in the Strip), but NOW, I just wanna know why Drew is wearing Mannis' (Scottish) clothes!? ...Isn't he from ALABAMA!??

...ha-HAAA! ...CHOW!

I'm guessing drunk driving. That happened to a guy I went to high school with. Left lifetime damage.

they were probably not "hiding" enough and his family discovered so they did it but he accuses himself for not be discreet or not being there to save him...

...y'know, I came back to look at my comment, after reading some of the Facebook fans of Kyle's B&B comments, and I may have have shooted my shot a bit too far....

...I went for a more threatening air, when JM and several others indicated that it may have been a situation that Darren THINKS he may have caused, in which I indicated, with my mention of Levi's previous plight.....

...besides, Greg never goes 'dark' in his strip, so....we'll just have to wait....just like we've been waiting to see Darren wear something tight & HOT! ...those juicy THIGHS, covered 8 days a week, yeeeeesh....

CHOW-CHOW!

People and their wild imaginations, Darren didn't kill anyone, PERIOD!!!!

Why Greg is doing this to my favorite character is beyond me but I'm not falling for Greg's plot twist this time. There's more to this we're just not seeing it, let's not forget when Darren was introduced he was this handsome ex-military comic book loving guy living with his church going aunt. He's been an upright (at times a little uptight) guy ever since he's been at the B&B.

The question to ask is what triggered his nightmares, in episode 619 we get a first glimps that something's going on with Darren from how he snapped at Eduardo about Levi, maybe all the help the guys were giving Levi reminded Darren of something he thought he could have done for his boyfriend but didn't get a chance to do that could have saved his life., who knows.

@Joule

I'm not falling for it either. I don't like the all of a sudden PTSD aspect of this character. I honestly feel as if this is more character assassination than the others...for OBVIOUS reasons. He was too good of a guy and he was black and handsome, there MUST be something wrong with him. There was NO indication that Darren had anything wrong with him and there no indication of what exactly occurred that caused a trigger response. This aspect would've been more suitable towards a no talent like Brad but hey, he's blond so he gets a pass, even if he is penile challenged.

I second Joule's theory - that Darren feels responsible somehow for what happened to Marc, and not that he actually killed him.
