Interesting! I can think of several elder statesmen of the gay rights movement that Mark might be based on. Something tells me things are going to heat up soon, either with Mark and Eduardo or Mark and Richard.

Bus Station Diary? That's a book I'd like to read! Mark needs to be published in "our" universe.
Any nude scenes, frontal or rear, of Mark would be greatly appreciated.
I like that this episode features gay men across the age spectrum: Eduardo (teens?), Richard (20s), Kyle (30s), and Mark (50s). All that's missing is a guy in his 40s, and then of course older, 60s, 70s, 80s. Which would probably make it too crowded. But I like seeing the range of ages represnted.
I like this touch of history about how long the gay movement has been going on. As a lesbian versus a gay man, I tend to have it easier in my daily life, but this was hard fought for by other people, and I think it is good to remind people of that. Continue the good fight:-)
