Wow, I really know how Richard feels - I always fall for the guy; who falls for your friends...
Protip: Get uglier friends.
LOL >to last poster about getting uglier friends ,, if only ,,
i usually end up falling for the guy who bangs one of my friends and then after that tires out ,comes to me as second choice .. hows that
When Richard grows up and starts taking himself seriously and starts acting his age (which looks like early 30's but I am sure intended to look younger) then maybe someone will take him seriously too.
richard is your typical twink frat boy who wants to stay in his twenties forever(even though he looks 35). every time a guy he thinks is hot comes by, his dick is sticking out. richard is totally predictable and a flake. if he is ever going to be taken seriously then he needs to quit thinking about guys just as people to bang. of course the author of the strip keeps writing these cliched sexual situations so most likely richard will stay a fem twink for a long time
maybe if he got rid of the fake blond streaks he'd have better luck with men. lol. seriously, though, I see so many guys out in the clubs with that same hair style, the spiky cut wih the blond streaks along the front hairline. do they really think that looks good? maybe Richard should go jet black with his locks, it might improve his romantic situation. you never know!
Gawd, I just love this strip. I get so many laughs.
Can I say this in mixed company? "Keep it up!"
-And to those mean-spirited comentators: Who else does a strip like this? Show a little gratitude (yeah as little as possible).
Richard's bio says "mid to late 20's" I don't think he's some 35 year old Brian Kinney chasing eternal youth or anything.
That's an old bio ...I mean look at the lines on his face in the group portrait,,,
Richards' circuit boy look is getting old-beyond old. 11 yrs of it in comic strip time of course. I mean I know 11 yrs of comic time could be anything in real time however it seems that at least a few years have passed in all that time when I look back at the strip.
Which also brings me up to the bio thing. How come Richard's bio or for that matter any of the other main characters bios not changed in 11 yrs, I'm assuming he has been a part of the strip since day one , how can he still be 25-29. hasn't at least 4 or 5 years passed in comic time on the strip. He should be at least be 30 by now?
Ouch! BTDT, Richard has my sympathy. Nothing quite like being the runner up in romance.
He is only the runner up because he is trying too hard and is not taking romance seriously. I mean, he jumps from bed to bed to bed, and once you give away the goods, what is left that is secret?
