Two thoughts:
1. I like this storyline. I don't think showing GLBT people isolated from the str8 world does us any favors.
2. Minor quibble: consider more variation in the color of the snow. As one who's lived in the north all her life, I can attest that there's a lot of color in snow (and I don't mean yellow!).
now naked ice hockey sounds a good story line. hope you follow that one up.....
Thank goodness you addressed Breyer's... "outfit" at the end of the strip, because I got so distracted by that get up, I had to go back and read the strip over.
I do wish Breyer would have gotten a throwaway line about what's going on with the Olympics right now, but this takes precedent.
Can't wait 'til the next one.
I almost thought Breyer joined the Bermuda team in Vancouver. But I do like to hear AND see what happened on the Naked Icehockey front. BTW you're wicked! *wink*
GAG. The cookie cutter Tom of Finland artistry for every guy on this strip is boring .

I agree that for the most part the characters seem derivatives of Tom of Finland, but there IS one over weight older character.
I also think that while GF draws men pretty well, even if they do seem of a cookie cutter physique, he tends to draw women the same way - broad shoulders, thick muscular legs, very angular faces. The women all look like men in drag. If Gloria ever removed her turtleneck, you know you would see an Adam's apple. His children are also drawn the same. I find it surprising since he is a student of life drawings and presumably had seen a large variety of bodies in his life drawing classes.
