Well the final panel is great in-character punchline dialog, it certainly works on that level, and this is after all a comic strip. But having gotten to care about these characters, I would have liked to see Richard out on his own a little while longer.
Oh brother , I cringed at this weeks strip. Kyle looks like he's crying mascara. It was just too conveniently wrapped up with Richard saving the day as most of us figured out who the mystery guest was anyway. Richard needed to be on his own for awhile and have some stories away from the B&B and aren't we tired of Breyer ,I think it's time Kyle kicked him to the curb.
Meanwhile... who's saying Richard will pop-up in the next episode? A whole new storyline can be started...
Can’t say I approve. We could see this coming from a mile away.
Real world: While Kyle may be the more forgiving type, what about Breyer? Did he consult Breyer first? Discuss the pros and cons?
What about Richard-would he be comfortable? And if he was sleeping on her couch, how could he afford the rent at Kyle’s.
Seems like it is more of an apartment house than a Bed and Breakfast these days.
Ok, that "diva" remark somehow makes up for all the previous insipidness-triteness along the storyline.
I love it when Greg does that.
Carles.-
I'm glad they are back to being friends but Richard should decline Kyle's invite.
If he is serious about this "new phase of life" why can't that be living on his own somewhere?
He can visit B&B anytime he wants.
Or are we to assume he truly has no money or job to have a place to call his?
really nice...
I think Richard has matured a bit -- perhaps he'll have a boyfriend ... this time.
As for Breyer, need more of him.
