Interesting development for Kyle and Dennis. He HAS to accept that position. Can a long distance relationship work? Will Kyle move and appoint a manager for BnB? It’s nice to see Frosty and Delia - without the unflattering hairstyle.

Brad, once again, is not funny, cute and definitely unappealing. There are more handsomely drawn characters. Similar to a past Brad-focused strip, he’s depicted as mean, insensitive - even a little hostile towards Coach. He’s also inconsiderate towards his “best friend “ Kyle, whom he knows is happy being with Dennis. Greg, please ship Brad off to an airline and base him in Hawai’i. Bring back whiney Jeremy. Even Price has found excitement elsewhere- Brad is no longer bringing value.

....well, it looks like Frankie Baby (above comment) didn't have HIS Coffee this Morning, just like me......but, at least I was pacified by those HOT ASSES & LEGS on Brad & Coach! ....hey I'm turning 63, I have to take what I can GET! ...ha-HAAA!

...But alas, we're here for the STORY; Coach Dennis (like me) has to see if he wants 'Home' stability at this juncture in his Life, or 'Work' success, doing what he loved, and rectifying the past (of getting removed from his Old Team).........

....as Frankie said, he DOES have to take the position, but.....does he want to be like Brad, stuck in the minors for GOD knows how long, just to stay with his Boyfriend Kyle (who he HASN'T said "..I Love You.." to, yet), and their 'Mascot' Dog!?

....although it'll hurt to leave Kyle......Coach Dennis was recently working Part-time at a TARGET, I knooooow he wants to get back to the Cardinals, and not be around Brad (who seems to have regressed in his intelligence, warmth, & tact.....)

.....BUTT, will they let him wear those teeny SHORTS!? ....jeezus, lookit that ASS.................CHOW.....

Brad once again sets off the "lunk" alarm. Get it together -- stop reinforcing the dumb blonde/dumb jock stereotypes.

Hi RBS - actually, I don’t drink coffee. You’re right, Dennis wants to move up to major leagues, he deserves and has earned better pay and benefits than he’ll get working seasonal jobs during the Wolves’ off-season. This is a dream cone true and Kyle would wish Coach well in this major career advance.

Maybe Brad is jealous Coach is finding the success he never will. Perhaps Brad desires Kyle and dislikes his relationship with Dennis. Dennis resembles Brad’s disapproving father, could be Daddy issues at work.

Dennis’s calves and legs are amazingly drawn, giving Drew a run for the money. I didn’t notice any asses, other than Brad acting like one.

"....I didn’t notice any asses, other than Brad acting like one...." ....WHOO, Frankie, BABY! ...ha-HAA!! ....maybe it's best you don't drink Coffee, I still can't reign in my 'big letter / small letter' writing! ...HA-HAAA!

...but, you're right again, in the 'ASS-essment' of Brad's Daddy's issues, insane jealousy of Kyle's paramours and their advances (whether Work or Love related), and his lunk-headed dumb Jock(strapped) attitude.....

....I've been sating for YEARS, that the "Brad" character has become as 'dated' as the Rich character; Brad can't get by anymore on his Greek God looks, because it AIN'T 1998 anymore.....Drew, Mannis, Levi, Darren, Jason, etc. are a NEW 'breed' of Gay Man, and they had Heart, BODS, personality, and 'joie de vivre' that makes them INTERESTING.....

....that is, if Greg ever brings them BACK......

....SEE!? ....this is why it's best NOT to have Coffee!! ...ha-HAAA! ....chow-CHOW...... ; )

Of course he would be a fool not to take the position. So bye-bye coach

hope i wont be attack for this, but two issues i have be that you be forgetting about some of the storylines and then they reappear, also the stunted character growth for some of these characters. as long as this comic has been going on some of the characters seem to still be acting the same when they first appeared. How much longer is brad going to be the dumb jock troupe

It might be Dennis' Dream Job, but dreams change. Dennis has had his dream fulfilled in Kyle -- Broccoli head and all. And Omigod! What arses they have! Woof! Dennis has some pretty defined calves too. Guess what I'm working on in the gym today!

...the ARSE!?? ...ha-HAAA! ....jus'kiddin', Wrang...enjoy that workout, and feel the BURN..... ; )

Good strip this week! Good to see Delia and Brad and Coach all in fine fettle. Coach can go off to the Majors and explore that Second Chance, Kyle can keep the home fires burning, and Brad can stew in his own juices! But, seriously, if Brad took this opportunity to reflect (or if some other character told him) about his own career choices and what he might do (How about coaching gigs himself, say at a local high school or Pony league?) . He could develop, even if his pro career never pans out.

I think in ALL comics, NOT JUST this one, characters change, if at all, at a GLACIAL pace. Readers expect certain tropes and they will be disappointed if they don't get them. For instance, what if Lucy actually held the football one time AND Charlie Brown was able to kick it down the field?! Then what?

The entire premise of the strip is that these characters are semi-stationary - they remain in place long enough to form attachments and get into various situations. Brad as an itinerant semi-pro ball player chasing a dream, Richard as a multi-gig DJ, scraping together enough cash to have a place to live, Price and Lance as career men with shallow roots, who can pack up and go at a minute's notice, Kyle as the steady hand at the helm...

It's all good!

..y'know, Comix DOES have a point, in that characters in Comics DO stay in a semi-stationary spot, to have situations & story arcs navigate their trope.....BUT..........

.....Sir Greg has many GAY characters that could go through some story arcs to bring the THRILL that's desperately missing form this Strip, as of late......Comic Books are KNOWN for it!

....for an example..... :

...Brad FINALLY gets picked for the Majors, then professes his Love to Kyle; Kyle (thinking Coach Dennis is leaving), sleeps with Brad...Price finds out, and arranges a setup for Kyle's B&B to be repo'd....Rich thwarts it, and has Jason sue Price for fraudulent claims...

....but Jason remembers that Price is a good lay, so he tells Price's FAMILY that he's Gay! ....But, Lance finds out, and warns Price; they have an intimate hug....then, they F*CK!

....Lance is now in love with Price, and dumps Drew...Drew is devastated, and turns to comfort in Darren....then, THEY f*ck! ....Ed is too wrapped up in Studies to notice Darren's cheating, but....he DOES notice Rudy isn't leaving his Room lately.....

....because Rudy is battling dementia, and won't tell anyone! ....Ed tells Mannis, and Mannis is ENRAGED, and hits Eduardo!

....Mannis apologizes, but Ed has found out Darren cheated, and flew to Hawaii to tell Jeremy what Mannis did....but, he also finds out Levi & Jeremy broke up, because Levi went back to WOMEN!

....SEE!? ....and NO "Fletch", was involved! ...THRILL, we NEED it...... ; )
