Greg, I love the way you put Price Kingsbury to the test with the other B+B permanent guest.

I've one question, can you change his name in Prize? He only thinks about money and not the fun of living.

Price is about ready for a fall!!! One of the residents of the B&B will need to take him down. I see Nick and Breyer teaching him a lesson...and Price having a very sore butt as a result!!

Actually the person to blame is Kyle. He hired the man, he is not doing this out of the goodness of his heart. So instead of blaming the guy doing the job, blame the boss who had him do it.

Too many times in life we place blame on the person doing the job when in reality the blame should be placed higher up where the job was ordered to be done.

@Troy... or rather blame those whose mindless behaviour led to a situation which prompted an inept boss to make a bad decision.
This is like a parable on everyday's politics and management anywhere in the world.

One can blame the person doing the job for how he does it. There's a difference between hating just his "modifications" and hating both them and the man himself.

And bosses aren't expected to be peering over the person's shoulder every moment. Price has been at this for only two strips now. I'll decide how much to blame Kyle once I see his reaction to Price's management style.

And btw, Kyle didn't "order" it done. It was offered and he accepted the favor. Unless he's had a major personality change off-panel, he's not likely to be happy about the way it's gone down do far.

Was there dialogue in this week's strip? Cause I could not see past the shower scene to read :)

his methods are awful, but there is a grain of truth in what he's telling. Good people like Kyle tend to be exploited, in one sense or another.

Pity that Price is such an irritating character, hearing the same things from a person with good intentions would have been more interesting also for the reaction of the B&B guests.

Exactly, the delivery is not helping the message any. What's the point in saying things people should hear in a way that makes them ignore you?

But of course it's the various personality flaws that make the strip fun.

well, its one thing to try an cut costs and help Kyle out but Price is being a total douchebag towards other people in doing it . Insulting them ,saying their names wrong and just being a plain and simple biattch. It's time he ran into Breyer , I don't think Breyer will take his crap and Kyle needs to see what this guy is doing to other people behind his back. Get a spine Kyle.

And Kyle is getting all this financial advice for free and for how long?

Seems to me Kyle got the worst end of this deal. There is no telling how much this is going to end up costing him.

And Price hasn't encountered Lance yet. Of course, Lance will probably just shrug his shoulders and sleep with him.

I hate this story line! We already have such great characters and interesting stories to explore. I feel that a nasty person has invaded my house, is harassing my friends and is doing their best to make life miserable for everyone. It's just like when Chemical King and Invisible Kid died in the Legion.

I think (or: hope) the dark Price will seduce the blond Brad, because i do feel that there are some similarities in their characters.

Typical Richard....
Price could tell him to eat dirt and he'd probably do it!!
His mind is still on seeing Price's package under the towel.....

and p.s.
who the hell pays $5.00 a load?
most paid machines cost a buck to wash and a buck to dry!!!

I agree Price is a jerk, but it does sound as if some of the residents are taking advantage of Kyle's good nature, doing 2 loads of laundry a day and the like. It will be interesting to see what Lance makes of him. (I just ordered my Kyle's B&B paperback, so I'm looking forward to reading the back history.)
