I am glad that Jeremy isn't going to be pressured to get married so that Mannis can stay back. I understand some might think, " What's the big deal of getting after being together for a short time?" However, to some, marriage isn't something that some might jump into it straight away, irrespective for the green card or not.
...I said Rudy would buy the business and give it to Mannis to run, but, I thought it would be a CARPENTRY business (with Scottish / Celtic ties), which would make sense... but, an exclusive KILT business!?? ...hmmmmm, the Lance 'side' of me, is coming out....
...It would make more sense if it was ALL things Scottish, seeing there IS a decent amount of Scots running in America (& WOULD call Mannis, for various projects); BUT, I think we should allow the Story to run at it's own pace, and just relish the fact that Mannis doesn't have to marry Jeremy, for now.....
...but, where does that leave THEM!? ..Mannis still may be a bit miffed, that Jeremy approached the topic like a Business transaction....to be continued....
I've liked these past two episodes of the summer. It would be very nice to see Rudy have some romance in his life in addition to having a business. Being older doesn't mean you lose romantic and sexual feelings...The Golden Girls certainly made that point and it was very progressive in that way. Yes, thankfully Mannis doesn't have to marry anyone...and come to think of it marriage doesn't seem to be the logical progression of his tepid, almost one-sided relationship with Jeremy. If Jeremy does not demonstrate that he has deep passion for Mannis, they should just stay apart. And I'd love to see more Bears show up at the B & B because I've yet to see a Bear character in this strip that I actually like. I'm also hoping to see Darren seducing a bikini briefed Eduardo or at least the aftermath.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't see this coming, though it's completely obvious in retrospect. I'm not sure I buy a carpenter willing to switch professions out of the blue, even to stay in the U.S., but hey, if Mannis is happy, good for him. I'd imagine there's still going to be some trouble between Jeremy and Mannis, though. I hope they don't break up; they're a very unique couple, and I like them together.
Is...Is Sergie giving Price a run for his money, or is he wearing tan shorts? I can't quite tell. Although I would assume that if he WERE sitting at the table au natural, his cheeks would be much less...smooth.
...yeah, Serg is wearing beige(?) spandex shorts, that MANY of the B&B'er's wear; Drew, Jeremy, Ed, Jaime, Breyer, even Darren wore them....
...y'know, I kinda hate that Sergei...HOT as he is...is not getting the 'scantily dressed' leeway that the Other guys get; YES, he's a 'Bear', but Bears dress minimally, too! ...would LOVE to see Serg in teeny short-shorts, hockey tights, a sexy bedtime nightie that someone can slip their hand under, for easy access...
...Russian 'cheeks' need tending to, TOO, Greg! ..ha-HAAA!!
I'm sorry but this is not a good episode. The only good thing in this episode is Rudy. I can't stand Mannis at all and I really don't see the appeal. Good seeing Sergei (whom I think that Matt should get with) though.
Seems like a good outcome to keep hunky, popular Mannis. I hope the relationship with Jeremy recovers from the awkwardness of wedding discussion. I suspect we'll see more B&B residents in kilts going forward. Not expecting to see Matt - he's effectively written off as a character - other than the wedding he's not been seen last 10 years.
lets hope that Mannis wears JUST the kilt in the shop. hey maybe Sergie could also help out in the shop (also just wearing a kilt - lets get that hairy body of his out in the open) two hot hairy guys in kilts should get the shop a few customers LOL

Ha! Told'ya. Do not understimate Rudy

Just a quick question. Do you have anything special planned for strip #600 next week? That's a nice milestone!
thanks,
Diana
