.....O-KAAAAAY...........A Three-WAY!?? ....let's TALK......

1. ....Lance was wrong, wrong, WRONG to do this......this WAY; He should've sat down with Drew MONTHS beforehand,
and introduced the idea to Drew (for a Three-way)...BOTH People (in the relationship) has to approach the idea on the same page....

2. ...as someone who personally has been....ummm..... 'In the Sandwich', if you will....you HAVE to introduce yourself to BOTH (in the Couple) FIRST; If a Three-Way is approached, it give YOU the option to take it off the table......but, if Drew LOOKS the way he does, it'll HURT, but.....YOU can't be responsible for bustin' up the Union....

3. ....this is CLEARLY Lance's 'out' for the relationship; he wanted to bang Price into the MATTRESS when he found put Jason got to hit that Butt FIRST....Lance has been wanting to slide into........ummm....another "DM"......for awhile, now.....

...Drew is a SOCIAL WORKER; He has a moral standing not to judge anyone who may have a Personal issue, but it doesn't mean he'll be 'open' to this liaison...he may actually get OFFENDED!

...this could be the final nail in the Coffin for Lance & Drew, Kids....too bad, 'cause Drew never looked SEXIER, here....NO 'Himbo' crop-Tops, Jockstraps, or Speedos.....just................DREW.........

......To be continued, CHOW........ ; )

Lance is so blind, he can't see that Drew wants no part of this, but would do it only to appease his boyfriend. There was probably a better way for Lance to address the situation.

Lance and Drew have been my favorites, but I can see this being something that finally makes Drew end things.

"...Lance and Drew have been my favorites, but I can see this being something that finally makes Drew end things...." ...hell, he may end it that NIGHT!

...I've always been a mite miffed that Greg took Drew from a smart, emphatic, doggone SEXY Man who wants commitment, monogamy, and even MARRIAGE... and demoted him to a walking Speedo!

...Drew was the One who stood up for Price after he was 'slut-shamed' after giving that WILD BJ to Brad in the Car (the drawing is actually still HERE, in Greg's "Follow Us On Twitter" box on this page!), and he kept quiet about Breyer, admitting to cheating on Kyle.....

..Drew is HUSBAND material, and he's been relegated to, "...ah ain't shure 'bout no Pants, now...ah'm good in me Speeeedos for the Christmaz Purtyeee...." ...for QUITE sometime!

...I'm hoping for the return of SMART Drew, because this Story arc is already shaping up to be a DOOZY!........can't wait, CHOW-CHOW!

Lance seems to be so gung ho about having a possible three -way with an old college buddy without taking in consideration how Drew actually feels about inviting a third person in their relationship. I like them together as a couple, but this maybe the final straw that finally ends their relationship. Fidelity can only work if both partners are willing to try. Lance is all too ready participate in a former missed opportunity.

The last sentence should have been: Lance is all too ready to participate in a former missed opportunity.

NO. Lance is drunk. Get him to bed. Like now.

Is that the wine talking? I'd like to see how Lance's mouth would flap if he was drunk around Price. They've already shared a moment naked in a locker-room after they had that fight at a sports party.

Interesting development. Lance might have brought the idea up in advance rather than putting Drew on the spot. Even the idea came up suddenly, during the course of this dinner, it's something which a couple might have discussed and explored just in case.

I like that the topic is introduced, it's what happens in long-term relationships. While it's interesting to read comments from others here, I'm not looking forward to all the moralizing and hand-wringing from the housemates.

Wow - this is the spiciest development since Jason and Price hooked up. I agree, this may signal the end of the relationship. An earlier episode alluded to Lance/Drew having a long dry spell - not it seems Lance isn't too tired, distracted or losing libido - he's still dtf just not with Drew (alone). But - maybe Drew is feeling the attraction too and they'll have some no-strings fun.

This plot feels like it might have worked well with Eduardo/Darren - as they had vastly different numbers of partners. Speaking of plot - what's happened with our trans teen character - has that story wrapped up with Sergei yelling denoting problem's solved?

okay maybe its just me but i am getting a little bit bored with them. either break up or not at this point. Last time we saw them was that whole arch of Lance saying he doesnt enjoy going to football games but then they made up because he got them superbowl tickets. if they are eventually going to break up go ahead and do it. I think this is an interesting topic for any relationship but the way it seems like lance brought this up out the blue has me annoyed as it just seems like another storyline to push them to break up. I wished we had them discussing about xavier and lance's past before they got to the restaurant that way we could have known a little history between xaiver and lance and the idea of the threeway didnt seem completly out of left field. im just want them to either break up or not

i think thats the issue i have with it, like the subject just came out of nowhere and after all the whole football issue im sure they would have worked on their communication skill. and i agree i am not looking forward to the comments from the housemates

....well, time for me to yip about MY 3-way..... ....and why Lance was HORRIBLE, with his approach...

...I've had EIGHT Three way's (1992-1998); but, One stands out because of this Story arc; I had a BIG, horny thing for "Starsky" of 'Starsky & Hutch' (Paul Michael Glaser), and I messed around with this Hot Guy (Spring 1992) who looked like him...smokin' Bod, curly black hair, etc. ....

...by 1993, we drifted; then, Summer 1997, I was invited to a Concert from a well known 80's Sophisti-Pop Group (guess)....I ran into 'Starsky' there! ...he was now involved with 'Hutch' (Blonde, smooth skin, beefy)....We dined afterwards, chatted, Wine was flowing......

...we all go back to Starsky's joint.....HE brings up the 3-way option...obviously, I'm Game......but, 'Hutch', is hesitant.......

....we enter the Boudoir, things are flowing.......and, 'Hutch' STOPS.....to wash the DISHES! ....me & 'Starsky' continue....Then, he now stops, to check on Hutch....NOW, Hutch has a '..headache...', and the Three-way has to END! : 0

...Yes, I'll admit, I was a tad pushy (I reeeeeeally wanted to screw Starsky again), but, I was sent Home, frustrated as F-U-C-C.....

....Oh, well, it was for the best, because....'Hutch' was a REPUBLICAN! ....ha-HAAA! ...see how these 3-ways can turn OUT!?? : (

Good points RBS. I've had a few 3-ways with couples - when everyone has the same enthusiasm, it's great. But never perfect. I had a 3some with a former beau and his husband - I was much more attracted to the husband based on looks and novelty - that made things awkward later. I looked at earlier episodes, more than 10 years ago - Drew has always been more committed, attracted, invested and interested in the relationship than Lance is scripted to be; Lance shows his affection and love more as a reaction when jealous (Price or his colleague at agency) or when Drew is fed up. This is how Greg has designed the relationship, and it's been consistent. Let them separate and have occasional romps (like Mannis and Jeremy) which is more honest. Lance can play the field and use sex to land accounts as he once did, and Drew can find the committed partner he wants.

Advice to Drew -- Dump Lance. He's not that into you!! Drew and Lance are not on the same page. Drew wants a committed relationship. Lance wants an open one or one that does not include Drew.

Jack said...

FINALLY!!!! A response that makes sense!!!! But I'll say this: once Pandora's Box is opened, it can't be closed which is why a lot of gay male relationships don't last. All this jumping around can be confusing. Drew deserves so much more and Lance never was truly into him. They have a very toxic relationship and it's been about 10 years and there's no growth.

Talk about an example of ambush and disrespect. Lance just throwing this at Drew shows a blatant disregard for Drews emotional safety and comfort.

Lance is definitely seeing how much he can push the boundaries here and is hoping the social setting might pressure Drew into a compliant or casual yes ( or at least a softer no)

It comes down to a Trust and Safety Issue here.
A partner’s primary job in a committed relationship is to make you feel safe and respected. By dropping this bomb on Drew at the dinner table, he is proving that his immediate desires (or the friend's desires) outweigh Drews emotional comfort.
If Drew chooses to end it, he isnt "breaking up over a joke" or being "dramatic." He is responding to a fundamental breach of respect and a massive mismatch in how they both view boundaries, communication, and commitment. So in my opinion , kick Lance to the curb.

Personally, I've always found that doing things in odd numbers means someone always ends up feeling left out.

Well, it's like I've always said: most gay men can't be happy. It's just not realistic at this point. You can always count on them (1) courting drama, (2) hating on other gay men that appear to be happy, (3) being overly sensitive and finally (4) burning bridges...This is definitely the case with Lance/Drew. Lance is a whore and Drew tried to turn him into a husband and that's not possible. Boundaries have been crossed, again and to be honest with you, this is getting boring at the lack of depth from both characters. We never get to see or hear about Drew's upbringing or Lance's mental capacity. It's been 10 years and Lance and Drew have never met each other's families, etc. But hey, that's the community for you....

Jack

In an ironic twist, this rendezvous might have an unexpected response between Drew and Xavier that Lance had not contemplated, they might actually become more compatible together and not just for a onetime fling. Just saying....

You need to find a different circle of gay friends. For most of my friends are very happy while being drama and hateful free.

Wow - are the 1960's calling?!! 3-ways?! What's next - Brylcreme hair pomade and White Rain hairspray? This seems soooo dated. But, it Lance wants to say - "Let's break up" without actually saying the words, this seems to be the way to go!

As Drew said, "We've been totally monogamous 'til now!" What changed? Maybe Lance really, REALLY wants to get on Prep?! Maybe he's got a death wish? Or maybe, -- and this is most likely -- he is an A--hole!

Dump 'em Drew, and find someone who appreciates your peaches!!
