....700!?? ...where the hell did the TIME go!? ....well, let's celebrate.....
...Greg has doing this strip for MANY Decades, and he should be heralded for being an Openly GAY Artist creating a strip that features likeable characters, interesting scenarios, and a 'Family' of People who co-exist within a B&B.....
...Around September 1998, NO ONE even heard of what a '...B&B..' was; It was just a homely 'Hotel' that only the Provincetown types would know about.....Now, in 2026, the entire WORLD moves & exists through B&B's, and the fact that Kyle did it first (for the LGBTQ community) shows how he.....AND Greg....were ahead of the curve....
...Many characters came & left (I'm shocked to see Kristian, because he more or less '..left...', but damned if he doesn't look good with a Soccer ball coverin' his 'bat', right now ), and they all had varying degrees of likeability (Vincenzo & Rocco should make VERY timely comebacks, along with Coach Dennis....but, 'Fletch' still makes me WRETCH...) ....
...But, our main 'Fivers' are the focus point of the strip....Kyle breaking it off with a cheating Breyer, Brad coming out, Ed in a loving relationship w/ Darren, Richard becoming more nurturing & caring (albeit still distressingly NOSY), Lance thisclose to losing Drew....The Kids are living Together, and growing Together....and 700 Episodes later, are still LOVING, Together........
...Let's celebrate for Greg...; I remember when he was a 'Ghost' Artist for the Daily News, drawing the Top Music Acts O' The Day (in 1990), and did a Poster-sized drawing of Billy Idol....which scared the livin' CRAP outta me! ..ha-HAAA!
...I put him in the back of my pocket, and noticed his Work here & there up until 1993....But when I saw the first "Kyle'sB&B" in "Genre" Magazine, I started collecting them, and cut them out the Mags, which was what I was doing with other 90's Gay themed Comic strips, like "Ethan Green" & "Chelsea Boys".....
...But, 'Kyle's...', had a ....sweetness....It was Home-y, warm, lightly funny...VERY Gay...topical.....and, I decided to stay...that was in 1998, and here I am......
...and, so are YOU, Greg. THANK YOU, for all your Work, and I Thank the Internet (for once), for influencing you to make a Blogspot page, and allow many People around the World to have a '..stay..' at the warmest, GAY-est B&B, with Pancakes, Big Tits, and Big '..Soccer balls..'
What a lovely tribute to Greg RBS (what's your name - I'm guessing Richard Breyer Sergei? Greg's art and stories have entertained us for several decades and dealt with a variety of relevant topics. Greg's artistic skills have also highly evolved and we can see how much he loves and has fun with this strip. It's a pleasure to look forward to Tuesday mornings. Congratulations and thank you for 700 episodes! Wishing you many more years of happiness with the B&B.
