..NOW, L.L. ...me LIKEY! does Delia have a new 'friend'!? 😘..I was surprised Darren got THIS far into the P.A., but it shows he really wants to pursue this; Lisa is NO pushover, but obviously, as is Darren, have to prove themselves harder than most, not only to affect change, but to show civilians they ARE on 'their' side, and to abide by rules of LAW for others, and for THEMSELVES....
...and, this story-line seems to come at a timely period, the the G. Floyd hearing(s)underway; If Greg keeps this going, he could probably intersperse current 'situations' into it, and make this storyline VERY topical....We'll see....
..speaking of 'seeing', I remember a scene in the '83 flick "Police Academy", where (as a botched trick on someone else), a hooker gave a BJ to a Police Lt. under a podium (while he giving a speech)...I wished SO desperately, that it would've been Steve Guttenburg REALLY doin' IT! I keep re-reading this episode....it's so well drawn and written. Super excited there is a new character. I'm looking forward to the adventures of Darren and Lisa. And - Long live the Legion!!
Talk about walking around with a chip on her shoulder and jumping to conclusions. And maybe a bit of man hating lesbian too. Get over yourself woman, I would have taken her down a notch for making such comments, shes gonna end up being a cop that shoots first without assessing the situation. hello jail cell
My impression too. My answer to her speech would have been "In your dreams." I once worked with a straight male toad who always said things like "I have to watch my back around him,Lol!" My reply was "You have NOTHING to worry about..."
Let's be clear, if anyone jumped to conclusions it was Lisa with her prejudice towards men then with her assuming just because a man lives at a gay b&b that automatically makes him gay.
I'm loving how Darren is being written as just a regular person without having to conform to anyone's perceptions or stereotypes. Yes he's comic book geek, he's also a good guy. Darren showed us the type of man he is in Episode #545 in his conversation with Eduardo and in Episode #549 with his conversation with Rudy.
In his short time at the b&b Darren has become my favorite character, he's his own man, gay or str8 Darren's a top notch!!!!
