...MY take; Rudy gets in contact with the Store Owner, they talk about Scottish / Celtis hierarchy, the Owner sells the Store to Rudy...who gives it to the PROUD Scotsman Mannis, who turns it into a (Celtic based) Carpentry business, and, can get to stay in the USA, due to Rudy's USA / Scottish connections (remember when Rudy went that event, with Drew & Lance?) ....
...Then Mannis wouldn't HAVE to marry Jeremy, but....Jeremy has second thoughts, and they just get,'engaged', and do it when it feels right....
...P.S., I'm so LOVING Darren's growing presence within the strip; He's feeling more like 'Family' now, and although his 'flesh factor' is reeeeal low, You respect him hangin' with Rudy, yappin' at Price, workin' with Mannis....Welcome HOME, Darren.....
It's good to see both represented in the strip -- and aging queen together with a Queen of African descent!

But don't forget...the Scots are not the only Celts who wear kilts! The Celtic Irish also wrap their nether regions and bountiful buns in saffron and tartan! Truth be told...I prefer to unwrap those kilts from Irishmen...and Scotchmen too!!
I think Rudy is going to open his shop, Mannis will work there, run it, solving his leaving the US - maybe we'll also get an Irish character to wear a kilt too working in the shop (and not as competition to mannis/Scotsman) hopefully we also get to see lots of guys trying on kilts (and nothing else) LOL maybe Rudy has a small team working for him who ONLY wear kilts, it could be their uniform.
I'll say this: Older more mature bottoms are BY FAR better than the younger ones!!!!!!! DON'T SLEEP on them! MAN!!!! Younger bottoms cannot compete with older men and once you have had a really good older bottom, you won't go back! PERIOD! If I saw Rudy coming my way, I'd be blasting him CONSTANTLY! That being said: Rudy should open the shop, but I DO hope that Mannis and Jeremy leave. They are the WORST couple in the strip...
