...well, not only we Darr' & Eddie IN FLAGRANTE, we see them......say I LOVE YOU!
...we'll talk about the flesh, later! ....ha-HAAA!!
...Oh, this is BIG...the Story-line, not Ed's ASS..; 2 husky, Black & Latino MEN, tenderly saying "I Love You" (although slipped) is a BIG to-do in Comic strips, and shows this World is tunring.... Us Readers know it's a story-line plot, but Society as a WHOLE, can now see PAST stereotypes, and see young Men, like Darren & Eduardo....LOVE One another....
...NO 'dl', NO '..keep it secret, Brah..', NO forcefully 'taking' anyone....just, Two beautiful ethnic Men, saying "I Love You".
....now, about that FLESH! ...hooo-HAA!! ...ha-HAA!!
I agree that this was fantastic and would add that this is probably one of the sexiest episodes of the strip! It is awesome to finally see Eduardo in love for real...And I love Darren more and more with each episode. I'm glad Frosty was mentioned, I'd like to see him moving about the BNB more often. Also, it would nice to see Eduardo sauntering around in his bikini briefs after his night of passion with Darren.
Wow: this is the first time that I have seen something like this in gay comics. As much as I want to not like Greg's interpretation, he has the audacity to prove me wrong! LOL! This is...stunning....I love how the L-word just came out. These two have Drew/Lance to me because I have never heard the "L" word being used between them in all of the time that they have been together. I wish these two had a spin off because I would rather watch these guys than the other couples. Once again @Joule was correct.
@Jack Thanks for the compliment, I won't lie I've been pulling for Edren (my meshing name for Eduardo & Darren) since they first met when Eduardo came over to paint Darrens aunts bathroom. Greg had they playing a cat & mouse long game which gives their coupling/relationship authenticity.I'm not surprised they used the L-word so soon because Eduardo makes Darren feel safe in being a gay man and Darren gives Eduardo the emotional care that he's always been missing & looking for, are they total opposites, hell yes, and that's exactly what they each need.
I will admit that I didn't see any attraction at first but I get it now. They are polar opposites and they compliment each other. Example, I'm dating a Vietnamese guy and we are COMPLETE opposites but we are attracted to each other and we love being around each other. I like the dynamic of the cat and mouse game. With Eduardo and Darren, it feels much more loving than say Lance and Drew (we have yet to see them tell each other that they are in love or anything that would move their relationship forward). With Edren, I could see them spending holidays together, meeting each others' families, combining incomes, vacationing. Honestly? I never got that with ANY of the couples that Greg previously introduced us to. I find these guys MUCH MORE interesting than Price and Brad or Mannis and Jeremy.
@Unknown no offence Daruardo sounds like some Americanized made up dish served at Taco Bell, Edren rolls off the tongue a lot better.
@Jack I'm glad to hear you coming around to Edren being a couple, time will tell how well they do, Greg will let them have their honeymoon period then hit them with an issue that will cause some tension between the two, but a well developed each character is they'll work things out. As you pointed out opposites attract and I think that's what makes Erden work so well.
@Joule: I think that the thing that fascinates us so much about this couple outside of it being two minority men is their banter. they go back and forth and you can tell that each one brings his level of authenticity to what they are doing. they are comfortable in their own skin and this is something that we have not been able to say about the other couples. There will be some tension but the thing about tension is that it solidifies relationships more. They really do make the sexiest couple to ever appear in the strip. Edren is the couple to beat in the strip and that's not happening anytime soon. I can't wait to see them cook for each other. I have a question for you: how do you know when it's time to do something like that? I've been dating this guy for almost 2 months and I want to do something special to commiserate that. Any advice is appreciated
sorry but eduardo is too pushy and annoying. I certainly hope that Darren didn't say I love you because he felt pressured by eduardo. eduardo is still flaky and immature imo.
We'll have to agree to disagree, Eduardo comes off as a strong young man doing what he needs to do, sure he likes to have fun what 20 something do you know of that doesn't. I find it interesting have Richard can be a nosey party hoping queen and get pass after pass for meddling in people's business but Eduardo gets called everything under the book. Dude was kicked out of his house before even graduating high school, got his GED, is putting himself through college, and makes his own money, sure he wants to fall in love and has had his ups and downs doing it, what is indisputable is that fact him and Darren have a true & honest connection built on no only a mutual attraction for each other but seeing in the other what they themselves may lack, opposites attract and these two are seriously attracted to one another.
@Mi Ci: No, what is annoying is Price and his incessant fawning over Brad. What's annoying is Mannis and Jeremy who has ZERO chemistry and they are still featured! What's annoying is Richard's constant gossip and being given a green line to continue and no one really states anyone. Jack

It pays to be a supporter on Patreon...As a man of color I'm so proud of this episode for so many reason...Thank you Greg
Wow! This is a fantastic day!
It’s good to see Element Lad (my favorite Legionnaire) on the poster in his arrow uniform.
Greg... this is just... astounding!!!
woof, nice butts

@Joule I think I prefer Daruardo. :-)
