....al-RIIIIGHT, The Gang's ALL here!! ...ha-HAAA!! ..I see we get our prerequisite "Steve Angel" Ep; I was hoping it would the juicy-bottomed 'Bottle Booty' Guy, but...It DOES make sense, Steve consoles Kyle through his 1st Xmas without Breyer....

This is ALSO the 1st time someone confronts Steve about his 'Angel'-like abilities; It also seems ominous, too....Steve being apprehensive, then saying Brey's '...in a safe place...'

...heck, I'm getting sad, now, bring back 'Bottle Booty'! ..ha-HAAA!!

BUTT...-I mean-But, everyone's in festive spirits.... :

Price - funny
Rich - natty (...and, welcome BACK, slicked-back hairstyle!)
Mannis - ruggedly
Drew - studly
Lance - horny (..go figga!)
'Lexei - juicy (...dancer's 'cheeks' in tights, turn me ON!)
Delia - Beyonc-eeee
Kyle - weary
Jeremy - appropriately
Sergei - hockey
Brad - Elk-y
Rudy - classy
Darren - chocolate-ly (..with a healthy 'Easter egg', too...)
Eduardo - spicy
Dave & Nick - matrimony
...and...FROST-EEEE!!

...As you can see, I clearly got too much time on my hands!! ...ha-HAAAA!! ...Enjoy your Holidays, ALL, CHOW!

Great episode. Hopefully we see more of Breyer before too long. I think we'd all like to see what happened during this kilt-off.

А кто такой Алексей?

... Балерина, которого Лэнс приютил, пока он гастролирует со своей труппой ... У него тоже есть проблемы с сексом ...

Is it grammatically correct to say, "Where's Kyle at?" Shouldn't it be, "Delia, where's Kyle?" That just sounds like a grammatical faux-pas, but I hear people use it all the time, especially in Western Canada. Great episode, looking forward to the "kilt-off"! :)

I miss Breyer.

Ах, теперь я вспомнил. Спасибо!

That Commando Kilt-Off should give new meaning to the term "Highland Fling"

Why is Alyeksye's father addressing his son in the plural for "your"
instead of the singular, which parents invariably use with their offspring,
no matter how old they are?

@Dan41, in Newfoundland, they say 'Stay where you're to, and I'll come where you're at'

I have mixed feelings about this episode. It's sweet and understandable that Kyle is concerned about Breyer. I think of my former boyfriend too but after a month or so, I was going on dates. These post-break up dates did not go well (The first guy was a Cryptocurrency seller and the second guy was an anti-vaxxer!) but I was at least trying, even pushing myself to. Yes, like Kyle, I mourned the relationship and the process of moving on is different for everyone. In the last three panels Steve tries to help Kyle move on and that was good. I would like to see Kyle starting to go on dates and maybe give himself a makeover. In the early comics Kyle was more expressive of his sexuality and even appeared nude in one very hot strip (when he was with the older professor). Bring sexy Kyle back.

Best wishes,

J.D.

....weeeeell, I agree that everyone's different, but Kyle is (somewhat) Older and LUVS that "Housewife Life"...yes, he should date again, but he has to 'sting' a bit, because, he couldn't even FIGHT for his union with Breyer, and let others dictate their PRIVATE situation....

...'early years' Kyle 'got around' a bit (I even think he was involved with rich Older men), but he loves domesticity; THAT'S gonna be a bit tricky in this new IG/ Tinder / Grindr Gay world, for him to navigate easily....

...Kyle need to be with HIMSELF a bit, and find out what he REALLY wants in a Partner...Breyer TRIED, but gave up, because of his insecurities... also, a 'Makeover' can only happen, if One KNOW themselves enough, to 'rock' it.....

...Kyle'll be in a 'safe place'..for NOW.....

A very nice strip - seeing some of our seldom visited characters (Nick, Dave, Delia, Rudy) causes me to pine for them. I'm hoping to see more of their characters next year. Funny that the gays next door never seem to join the Christmas parties anymore.

Of course, it's the wise brilliant Delia who figures out Steve's true nature - more Steve and Delia please. It's touching to see Steve reassure Kyle that Breyer is okay. It helps Kyle to move on (even Steve wants him to move on from this story); we don't want Kyle to become Carrie forever obsessing over "Big". There's a cliche - the best way to get over a man is to get under another one; Kyle can definitely use that as a way to begin this new chapter. It'd be cool to see him have an encounter with a sexy visiting guest, perhaps staying in the "barn wing" which could be set up for short term visitors and allow some interesting characters (and former B&B residents) to be introduced. Kyle does have some handsome single prospects already at the B&B, though since he is their landlord (and could move to evict if things go awry) he understandably my be hesitant to **** where he eats pancakes. Happy holidays everyone!

P.S. I love that the Russians are speaking Russian as would naturally happen - would anyone care to translate? I imagine they're gossiping about what's under the kilts.....

Unknown said...

I think that's Brad saying "where's Kyles at?" and he's a country boy so it makes sense. Ending a question with a proposition is very common in the American south.

I second a translation of the Russian if anyone is willing. Good to see Sergei again!

Ha ha! Or even ending a sentence with PREposition, which is what I meant to type. Although, with this strip you never know...

Who needs more coffee?

-- Thom H.

@Frank

It says:

--Try to keep your pants on, Alexei.
-- Yes daddy.

Is the first speaker Sergei? Not sure. And the fact that he uses the formal/plural form of speech is a bit odd.

hope we all get to see the kilt-off.... and that Alexi does NOT keep his trousers on
got to say I like the strips for Xmas where they wear as little as possible (hey, a group of guys wearing nothing is always good!!) I remember the jockstrap one.... good to see most of the gang there, my man, Jeff, is missing. but good to see frosty (wonder how many time he puts his nose up those kilts (good boy!!)

What about that (closeted) coach that seemed interested in Kyle? I think that he can returns and the two had at last a "one night stand".
